Damien’s Food Pantry is proud to announce the completion and release of its 2025 Annual Report, highlighting a year of growth, resilience, and deepened community impact across the South Coast region.
The report reflects a year in which rising food insecurity continued to affect families, seniors, veterans, and working individuals throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. In response, Damien’s Food Pantry expanded its reach and strengthened its commitment to ensuring that no neighbor goes hungry.
In 2025, Damien’s distributed millions of meals and supported a network of 33 partner pantries, while continuing to grow its direct-service programs. The organization also expanded mobile pantry services, increased access for homebound and elderly individuals, and enhanced partnerships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders.
Key highlights from the report include:
- Serving over 4,100 households and 13,000 individuals
- Facilitating more than 26,000 visits
- Providing nearly 81,000 meals
- Expanding nutrition education and community engagement programs
- Strengthening volunteer involvement and operational capacity
The report also outlines strategic priorities for 2026, including expanding services to unsheltered populations, enhancing infrastructure, and increasing multilingual outreach to better serve diverse communities.
“This year reminded us that while challenges are inevitable, so is the power of community,” said Executive Director Rachel Resendes. “Together, we are building a stronger, more connected region where every family has access to the nourishment they deserve.”
The 2025 Annual Report also includes financial insights, program achievements, and stories that reflect the compassion and collaboration driving Damien’s mission forward.
