At Damien’s Food Pantry, we believe that everyone deserves to experience dignity, respect, and compassion — especially during difficult times.
That belief is at the heart of Carts of Compassion, a new opportunity for individuals, families, businesses, and community partners to support the shopping carts used by patrons of Damien’s Food Pantry.
Through the program, donors can sponsor a shopping cart, with branded signage displayed prominently on the front of the cart. Each time a cart is used, that message of support will be visible to the individual or family shopping for the food they need.

For many people, visiting a food pantry can be a humbling experience. At Damien’s, we strive to create an environment that feels welcoming, comfortable, and empowering.
Our shopping carts help make that possible.
Rather than simply receiving a pre-selected bag or box of food, patrons can move through the pantry and select the items that are right for themselves and their families — much like they would in a traditional grocery store.
