A beautiful life!
Marjorie’s life was a life of caring, compassion, and helping others. Everyone she encountered had a lasting memory of this vivid woman who loved life and those around her. She set an example for all of us; she never complained and always looked on the bright side. Even at the end her contagious optimism and humor shined bright. When asked if she was OK, knowing she was not, she said “I’m fine”. Marjorie had a beautiful life, that is her legacy and we will miss her.
Born in Taunton, Marjorie received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse for Tobey Hospital and the former Roland Thatcher Nursing Home in Wareham. After retirement Marjorie continued to give, she co-founded and tirelessly volunteered for Damien’s Place Food Pantry.
