Paulette L Arnold, September 2, 1949 – July 3, 2022
Paulette L. Arnold was the wife of Richard B. Arnold.
We were saddened to hear about one of our dedicated long-standing volunteers.
Born on September 2, 1949 Willimantic, CT to Donat and Lillian Lebeau, she attended St. Mary’s School, Windham High School and received her degree from UCONN School of Nursing. She married her loving husband Rick in 1974 and they raised their two children in Franklin, CT before resettling in Rochester, MA. Paulette was a compassionate and hardworking visiting nurse working throughout Southeastern CT and in Massachusetts. She was a dedicated nurse who brought warmth to those she cared for. Paulette loved spending time with her friends and family, often hosting lovely dinner parties and riveting game nights. Paulette enjoyed traveling near and far and found Paris, France, The Algarve in Portugal and Freeport, Grand Bahama were among their favorites for exploring. Paulette had many passions; she loved theater and museums, she was an avid reader and book club member, dabbled in painting, exercise classes, she researched her ancestry and attended French language classes and was a wonderful cook. She organized social events in her community, including parades, cocktail parties, and holiday parties. All her life she was a good neighbor- always looking after those around her. She volunteered at Damien’s Food Pantry and organized an annual school supply drive.
.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her son Greg (Molina) Arnold; her daughter Jacquie(Rahul) Mital; her four grandchildren, Rowen, Boden, Theo, and Lila; 3 sisters, Janine (James) Masso, Elizabeth (James) Humphreys, Carolyn Lebeau and many nieces and nephews. Paulette was most proud of her grandchildren Rowen, Boden, Theo, and Lila, who she doted over and loved dearly for their unique personalities. Paulette loved hosting her annual Easter Egg Hunt and Family reunions. She lived her life with gratitude for her children, her grandchildren, her family and many friends. Paulette lived her life with dignity and grace that stayed with her until her last days.
