At Damien’s Place, we are continually looking for new and innovative ways to better serve older adults throughout our communities. As the needs of seniors continue to evolve, we believe it is essential to hear directly from them about the challenges they face regarding food access, transportation, and awareness of available community resources.
To that end, we have developed a brief survey and are asking for your partnership in distributing it to the older adults you serve. The information gathered will be invaluable in helping us:
- Pursue grant funding specifically focused on senior food insecurity and nutrition.
- Explore new transportation solutions that improve access to healthy food.
- Identify gaps in awareness of community resources and strengthen communication between local organizations and Councils on Aging.
- Develop partnerships that allow community organizations to better share their programs and services through local Councils on Aging.
- Expand Damien’s Place’s efforts to end hunger and improve the quality of life for the older adults who have contributed so much to our communities throughout their lives.
Your participation will directly influence how future programs are designed and funded. The more responses we receive, the stronger our ability will be to advocate for resources that truly reflect the needs of the communities we collectively serve.
