We recently received a donation from Pamela Creonte of Wareham, MA. We’d like to share the lovely note that Pamela wrote that was included with the donation:
Sherri Creonte of Wareham, MA, loving daughter of Pamela Creonte and the late Joseph Creonte and sister of Kimberly Creonte Weckbacher, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. She grew up in Kingston, MA and was a graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School. Sherri then took the Civil Service exam and worked for the Department of Environmental Mgt for many years. She completed her education at Massasoit Community College and became a veterinary technician. Sherri devoted her life to dogs and put many smiles on people’s faces with her own amazing dog Joey. She took him to various establishments to brighten people’s days. They all looked forward to these visits. Sherri always spoke highly of and respected the wonderful people at Damien’s Food Pantry who graciously helped her when she fell on hard times. It is because of this help, we continue to support this fine organization in Sherri’s memory.
